Uisdean's films have screened at festivals around the world. Recently released on DVD via his website is the Jemima Trilogy, a series of films about a murderess.

His most recent film is Siubhlachan shot entirely in the Scottish Gaelic language and winner of Best Professional Film at the first ever Gaelic Language FilmG Competition 2009.
