MY INSPIRATIONS
I'm a filmmaker working in the mythic arts. I pull my stories from a varied background in theater, film, and anthropology, plus several years work at numerous cultural institutions, among them: the American Museum of Natural History, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Wildlife Conservation Society. My tales delve deep into our human nature, our own "personal mythologies" - what we embrace and allow to happen - choices that lift us out of the darkness and those that might not sit well with our conscience. I aim to bring those inner tendencies to life visually through tales incorporating myth and magic realism – everything from the Odyssey to Shakespeare's Midsummer Nights Dream...
