About Umbilical Jim

Umbilical Jim is a short 16 mm horror film about a boy and his mother who are, perhaps, a little too close for comfort. It was my film II project for Emerson College in Boston.
Interesting fact: This entire film was shot twice....As the entirety of the original footage was stolen mysteriously from the front steps of the apartment I was living in at the time...So the whole film had to be reshot. We ended up with a better film because of this, but it was a huge nightmare that turned what was to be a semester long project into one that lasted an entire year.

It was featured in the 2008 Last Call Film Festival in Lousville, Kentucky.
